Aquapsychomotricity

The aquatic context can be a way for the child to access the possibility of amplifying his or her perception capabilities.
In this sense, water presents itself as a communicative and relational mediator of bodily and motor experiences and experiences; water encompasses the ability to put the individual in close contact with his or her own boundaries, but it is also a channel through which it is possible to let go towards the release of bodily, motor and emotional tensions. The bodily and motor activity carried out in water (aquapsychomotricity) with children with autism-related problems makes it possible to construct an alternative educational context capable of stimulating children to enter into a relationship with others, favouring the establishment of multiple opportunities for interaction and communication.
