Courses and Activities
Those who have long worked with commitment and dedication in the world of sport have certainly not missed an exquisitely sociological assessment of the changes that have involved the world of sport in the last decade. In the social context in which they are located, sports centres, far from representing only the place for initiation and competitive practice of the various disciplines, have become real centres of aggregation capable of attracting, alongside young sportsmen and women, adults and the elderly who are attentive not only to the educational and didactic aspect of sport, but also to its marked health and aggregating value.
Therefore, the attitude of those pools that continue to consider values and disciplines such as competition and competitive swimming alone to be exclusively driving forces to satisfy the new and more complex “need for sport” of users appears anachronistic.
