Pilates
Pilates is a training method based on a programme of postural exercises that help keep the body balanced and in harmony. It is aimed at strengthening the muscles of the trunk, lower and upper limbs. It is also a method indicated in the field of postural re-education.
A programme designed and conceived to lengthen and strengthen muscles through movement control. Working in alignment between the back and “powerhouse” (an area consisting of the abdominal muscles, diaphragm and lumbar muscles, it is the centre of strength and movement control).
